Tourists from Europe and other Western countries require a valid visa for travel to Ethiopia. A tourist visa of 1 or 3-months can be issued upon arrival at the airport in Addis Ababa. A passport valid for at least 6 months is required. A fee of currently USD40 / £34 (for a single entry tourist visa of one month) or USD70 / £48 (for a single entry tourist visa of 3-months) is charged.
