We arranged a 10 days trip after we arrived in Addis with Awura Tours, including some of the historicalsites in the north and a two day trekking tour in the Simien Mountains. It was a very well organized tour, we didn’t need to think of any arrangements, which made it very easy and relaxing for us. Our driver Biruk was very experienced and responsibly driving, and it felt more like travelling with a friend who took care of everything. Travelling through Ethiopia could be a demanding experience without a good organization. We would certainly recommend Awura Tours to everyone looking for an exciting but comfortable trip in Ethiopia. We were very thrilled to go to the wonderful unknown and there were no disappointments!! 5 minutes in the office were enough for the guys to come up with a great plan and all that was left was to simply take-off with Biruk who knows every street and every corner, always ready to improvise and always with a great smile! The whole trip turned to be one of the best we ever had. The wonderful views, the people, trees, animals and all were simply wonderful! Gebreselassie, Toronto, Canada * The day trip to Wenchi crater lake provided by Awura Ethiopian tour was one memorable and full of exciting things to do in a day from trekking down the mountain around the lake, a boat ride across the lake to visit one ancient church, a picnic break by the lakeshore, a horseback ride through the stream of Ambo mineral water and back up to the mountain. All these things took place while going through all the villages around the lake while learning and being greeted by the locals and their rich culture. The hospitality offered by the staff is very professional and anyone can make sure to have a comfortable and well guided tour.
